Tree Pruning - Remedial or restorative pruning

Remedial or restorative pruning

Remedial or restorative pruning is used to prolong the useful life expectancy of damaged or diseased trees and reduce potential hazards when other approaches to resolve structural or health problems have failed and the tree must be preserved.

Trees affected by storms, lopping, mechanical damage, vandalism, or severe pest or disease attack may require remedial pruning.

Generally this type of pruning is not carried out as a one off, but rather as a program of specified works by our skilled arborists to restore a tree to a stable form over time.
